Favorite Lower Body Workout

Starting a new category of ‘workout files’ here on my blog, because several friends have asked about home workouts. Here are some of my personal favorites at the moment.

I workout 2-3 times weekly, ideally 3 times and try to get around to the full body in the course of those workouts. I  like shorter workouts, between 15-45 min. It’s more doable for me that way. In addition to this I like to walk or jog at least once weekly.

Recently I’ve also tried yoga and found that I really love the routines that focus on stretching. Still a total newb with yoga but I will link to my favorite one so far, it’s an after workout strech and feels magical the day after a weightlifting/lower body workout.

For gear, I have:

  • 8 kg dumbell
  • 1.5 kg handweights
  • 2.5 kg handweights
  • resistence band
  • ball
  • yoga mat
